SoSu Dripping Gold Review
This has to be one of the most controversial fake tans I have ever tried, so an in depth review is needed!
Ever since Suzanne Jackson released her hotly anticipated fake tan 'Dripping Gold' the reviews have been quite mixed to say the least. I've definitely seen a few people slate it with just as many raving about it. So as a fake tan aficionado I had to try out this product for myself.
Price
I picked up the tan in my local Penneys for €20. For full disclosure I did pay for this myself, I used a voucher Penneys Head Office had given me, after I found my cotton pads from there were riddled with dead insects. So the decision to buy, use and review the tan was completely my own.
Application
I went with the shade Dark, as the Ultra Dark sounds a bit intense for my 'so pale it's almost blue' skin. The product is a mousse - definitely my preferred type of tan as mousse always applies quite smoothly. Solid packaging and pump as well which is always important! The tan showed up instantly with a lovely deep brown colour, with perhaps a very slight tinge of orange to it. But overall it applied fantastically and the instant colour was amazing.

Development
I left the tan on four about 13 hours and for me the colour didn't develop too much during that time, but like I said it was a lovely deep colour already. There was a small problem with the development though. I'd say I put it on at 5pm and then just pottered around my house in loose pj's. The next morning I did notice a good bit had not only transferred onto my pj's....but onto Dean too! I had obviously slept with my arm around his waist (💓) and now he has a lovely strip of Dripping Gold around his body!! But thankfully it didn't transfer off my arm 😂

Result
I had be warned that most of the tan would rinse off in the shower, but that wasn't the case for me. As you can see in the before and after pictures there's no major difference and it developed quite dark.

Overall I'm highly impressed. I've been trying out a multitude of different tans over the last few weeks and this is really one of the better ones. My only complaint is that there is a slight hint of orange to it which perhaps may not show up as orange on darker skin tones, but in saying that I'm still happy to continue using it.
