Afternoon Tea in The Atrium Lounge

A few weeks ago, my sister treated myself and my Mam to afternoon tea in The Atrium Lounge in The Westin Hotel, for both our birthdays. And what a treat it was.... Firstly The Atrium Lounge is stunning! It's a beautiful, bright, internal courtyard right in the middle of The Westin Hotel with a five storey high glass ceiling. Once we were seated we instantly ordered a glass of prosecco (no surprises there) and we were advised on the options available to us. There are two types of afternoon tea to choose from. One is A Most Peculiar Afternoon Tea and the other, which we went for, is a traditional afternoon tea. As much as I like my sweets and cakes I was after a good balance of sweet and savoury and the traditional afternoon tea was perfect for this.
