Not Another Skinny Tea Review
So let me start off by saying I am very skeptical of 'skinny' teas and 'teatox' and all that shite. I'm a firm believer in losing weight by eating right and exercising. And no cup of tea is going to change that.
But I had a pack of Miss Fit Skinny Tea at home and two weeks ago I said 'sure feck it, I'll give it a go'. If it doesn't work - no biggie, at least I've tried it.
So let's get straight into it, you want to know if I lost weight. And the short answer is yes, I did and I'm delighted.
Long answer has a bit more to it! So after Christmas 2016 I was my heaviest I have ever been and to be honest I was quite horrified with myself. So since then I've eaten quite well (Monday - Friday anyway) and have gone to the gym about three times a week. That still is working out really well for me and I've lost about 5kg since January. But for the past few weeks my weight has plateaued and that's when I said I'd try the tea. So on the first day of taking the Miss Fit Skinny Tea I weighed 64.5kg and on the last day I weighed 62.8kg. Not a major weight loss, but for me getting past 64kg was like breaking through a wall.
*I only did it for 12 days because my last two days of the tea were yesterday and today, and today I'm deathly hungover after yesterday's antics so the tea can feck off!
Now I'm no fool, that weight will quickly go back on once I stop drinking the tea. We all know these kinda teas make you lose weight by basically 'clearing you out' and we've all heard the horror stories to go with it. But I was completely fine, 'regular' you could say. There was no near misses or mad dashes to the bathroom, but I do pride myself on my strong stomach! And to be honest, the tea was also delicious, I really enjoyed drinking it.
And finally would I recommend the tea.....look I lost a bit of weight before my holidays and I've no shame in saying that I do feel better about myself. I won't stick with it, mainly because of the price of it, but I would use it again before a holiday or event. Basically it's a quick fix.
These things work out differently for different people but I just wanted to give you my feedback on it :) And here's a little before and after picture for reference...
