L'Oreal Colorista Washout Colour

As you may have noticed I'm on a pink hair mission at the moment. If I may say so myself, I already have lovely blonde hair (thanks to Daniel Sheridan) so I don't want to fuck it up mess with it too much.

First of all I tried the L'Oreal Colorista spray in colour in Pastel Pink, you can read all about it hereAfter that worked a treat, I was ready to step things up a notch so I tried the L'Oreal Colorista Washout Colour (in Pastel Pink). Now this only lasts 2-3 washes so once again nothing to dramatic.

This is just a classic bottle of hair dye. Basically a tube of pink goo. I just went for it and started rubbing it into my dry hair, as per the instructions. I wanted a kind of ombre/highlights effect so didn't put it near my scalp. Twenty minutes later I rinsed it out, no shampoo or conditioner needed, and ta-dah my hair was pink.

So whereas it had done exactly what it said on the box it was a lot brighter than I had hoped for, it was pink-pink rather than pastel pink. And I hadn't done a very good job at applying it evenly or blending it in well to give it that ombre effect (completely my fault.) But I curled it and it was grand!

I washed my hair again two days later and a good bit of the colour came out to give my hair a fabulous rose gold colour, it was PERFECT!!! This was the pastel I was after! (Pic below) That lasted for a day until I washed my hair for work this morning and now there is zero trace of pink in my hair. #raging

For less than a tenner, it gave me deadly hair for a long weekend so it defo gets a thumbs up from me! I got this (paid €8.75 for it myself) from Bradley's Pharmacy, where you can get it in loads more colours as well as loads of the spray in colours.
