How To Be A Savvy Shopper



There's no denying I love shopping but I am by no means made of money! I am always on the look out for a good deal, and to be honest they're not that hard to find. Have a look below to see how I save on my shopping....

River Island

There is always always always a River Island discount code! Never buy River Island full price! These discounts are usually for 20% or 25% off with purchases of over €50.The codes are usually published in magazines such as U Mag, Image, Stellar or Grazia. I always post the codes on my Facebook page and Snapchat (@jenniferdevitt) but follow The Bargain Buyer and Just The F Word as well, as they always post discount codes too.


ASOS

Asos are very generous with their codes as well, their codes usually only last for a day or a weekend, but a discount is still a discount! So keep an eye on their website. And don't forget Asos stock New Look, River Island, Boohoo and Warehouse, so if you're after something from the high street, check Asos as well!





Boots.ie

I have noticed boots.ie doing great online only offers. Most recently I saw one of my favourite foundations reduced by 50% as well as all Nip and Fab products reduced by 33%. These offers are not available instore and are only advertised instore by a small sign at the till, or by checking online, but they are definitely worth keeping an eye out for.





Bank Holidays

Online retailers are mad for offers and discounts on bank holiday or days like Mother's Day. This is just a few examples of some offers that were available on Paddy's weekend. So keep this in mind coming up to any holidays or occasions.




Fake Tan

Fake Tan such as bBold, Tantastic, Sally Hansen and Rimmel are nearly always cheaper in a pharmacy than in Boots. One of my favourite tans, bBold is about €18 for a bottle. Let me tell ya.... I have never paid more than a tenner for it because it's always on offer in Bradley's.



Cloud 10 Beauty

Cloud 10 Beauty is a great Irish website that stocks makeup, skincare, fake tan etc. They have a discount code going at least two or three times a month. You can stock up on some of your favourite brands such as Cocoa Brown, Sleek and iWhite and save money! Make sure to follow them on Facebook or Instagram for updates.

Make Up by Polish Hand & Foot Spa

As you may have seen from my millions of pictures on Facebook & Instagram , I got my make up done! This is so exciting for me because it's something I never do! If I'm going to a salon it's usually for nails or a blow dry, I just never think to get my make up done! And why wouldn't I? I do my own make up decent enough.....but let's be honest it's never anything special. So I was only delighted when I was given the opportunity to have someone else do it for me! I was invited to Polish Hand & Foot Spa to get my make up done yesterday evening, and it was such a lovely treat!! First of all Polish Spa on Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin is a very chic salon run by Leanne and Emma. For me (and probably most other people) the interior of a salon really adds to the experience and Polish Spa did not disappoint.
