Power (Netflix)



How more people aren't talking about Power is beyond me! Myself and Dean just randomly started watching it and I cannot express how unbelievably good it is! See that sexy, smoldering guy up there? Yea that's James St. Patrick aka Ghost, a super attractive businessman who owns one of New York's most exclusive nightclubs. As well as running his nightclub and a few smaller businesses, Ghost is also one of New York's biggest drug dealers. Ghost's double life beings to come crashing down around him when he starts an affair with his high school sweetheart, who happens to be on a secret task force, investigating the New York drug scene. Neither Ghost or his mistress know the full truth about each other, but with each gripping episode their two worlds come closer and closer to an inevitable head on collision.

*Definitely not suitable for kids!!

Devious Maids (Sky Boxset)


If you loved Desperate Housewives (or were insanely obsessed like I was) then Devious Maids will be right up your alley. It's produced by Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria and is pretty much the Latina version of Desperate Housewives. These "devious maids" all work in the same Beverly Hills neighbourhood, where they are privy to their very rich employers dirty little secrets. This comedy drama makes for light watching, but enjoyable none the least. And just like Desperate Housewives you can expect some steamy antics as well as the odd dead body.

Gilmore Girls (Netflix)



Netflix now have all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls available for endless streaming and it has pretty much taken over my life! If you are of my vintage you probably watched this in your teens and were extremely jealous of Lorelai and Rory's very close mother/daughter relationship. For a programme where not much happens you'll be addicted in no time, as you grow to love the characters as well as the charming, fairy light covered, town of Stars Hollow.

*Sidenote: I recently learnt that Pretty Little Liars use the old Gilmore Girls set! #MINDBLOWN

Make Up by Polish Hand & Foot Spa

As you may have seen from my millions of pictures on Facebook & Instagram , I got my make up done! This is so exciting for me because it's something I never do! If I'm going to a salon it's usually for nails or a blow dry, I just never think to get my make up done! And why wouldn't I? I do my own make up decent enough.....but let's be honest it's never anything special. So I was only delighted when I was given the opportunity to have someone else do it for me! I was invited to Polish Hand & Foot Spa to get my make up done yesterday evening, and it was such a lovely treat!! First of all Polish Spa on Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin is a very chic salon run by Leanne and Emma. For me (and probably most other people) the interior of a salon really adds to the experience and Polish Spa did not disappoint.
