Wet n' Wild Summer Party

What a great week to get back into blogging! On Wednesday evening I was lucky enough to attend Wet n' Wild's Summer Make-Up Party to celebrate the launch of their amazing new summer range. I have been a massive fan of this US brand since they came to Ireland last January (especially the nail varnishes!!) and the new range does not disappoint!


The brand had a great set up in Bond Street Studios, which looked sooooo dodgy from the outside, but was transformed on the inside, to host an extremely cool summer party. Guests were treated to champagne, cupcakes & my all time favorite slush puppies! The room was beautifully decorated with giant balloons, floral displays, a projected video montage and a DJ playing some seriously amazing tunes!

Of course I had one! :)

All the tables had new products laid out for us to sample as well as a full display of everything on offer, and brand representatives to talk through the summer range.  There's so many colourful items in the collection and I couldn't take my eyes off the lipsticks, which may I add are only €2.99! And little did I know how long lasting the lipsticks actually are, as I was still scrubbing swatches off my hand two days later!

I also had a great chance to meet some lovely new bloggers and chat about all things beauty. And after a month of being a hermit, trapped indoors studying, I didn't need to be asked twice to get glammed up! I went straight from work so just thew on River Island nude heels, my Zara jeans, Penneys wrap blouse and my trusty leather jacket.

Wet N' Wild were kind enough to treat all guests to a goody bag of the night, and i'd love to give away some of the contents! I'm going to run the competition on my Facebook page, so make sure you've liked my page and see below for what you could win!

Make Up by Polish Hand & Foot Spa

As you may have seen from my millions of pictures on Facebook & Instagram , I got my make up done! This is so exciting for me because it's something I never do! If I'm going to a salon it's usually for nails or a blow dry, I just never think to get my make up done! And why wouldn't I? I do my own make up decent enough.....but let's be honest it's never anything special. So I was only delighted when I was given the opportunity to have someone else do it for me! I was invited to Polish Hand & Foot Spa to get my make up done yesterday evening, and it was such a lovely treat!! First of all Polish Spa on Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin is a very chic salon run by Leanne and Emma. For me (and probably most other people) the interior of a salon really adds to the experience and Polish Spa did not disappoint.
