Revlon Nearly Naked Review

I'm back on the blog.....yay!!! I have been studying my arse off for the last few weeks so unfortunately the blog had to take the backseat, as well as that I had no time to go anywhere or do anything, and I'm pretty sure no one wants to hear about accountancy!

Anyway.....as you many have seen on my Facebook page I'm going to do a quick review of Revlon's Nearly Naked foundation. I picked this up in Boots on Monday for a fiver, the usual price is €13.49. I flat out refuse to pay full price for a foundation, just to bring it home and find out it doesn't suit me! But with it being so cheap I couldn't resist! I bought it in shade 'Shell' as it looked similar to No.7's 'Warm Ivory' which I use a lot as well.

Morning:
So I applied this as I usually would with any other foundation. I started off with No.7's Essentially Beautiful moisturiser and a bit of Mac Prep & Prime on my t-zone. As you can see from the picture it's quite a liquid foundation and there's no pump, so be careful when opening it!

The Nearly Naked was a bit light for my liking but the coverage was easy to build up which I suppose is a bonus so it's not immediately caked on! I did find it took a bit longer to blend in but it still had a lovely even finish to it. (You might be able to see I didn't quite finish blending around my forehead.....ooops). I set it with Mac's Mineralize Skin Finish Pressed Powder and used Wet n' Wild's MegaGlo Illuminating Powder on my cheeks

Afternoon:

Ok I took this picture a bit later than the afternoon, it was more like five o'clock! During the day I made sure not to top up my make up, so I could see how it turned out. Its not very clear but it has dried in a bit on my nose and I'm a bit oily at my chin, but that just takes a two second fix and it still looks great!

Evening:

I feel I look better now than I did at five o clock! I'll put it down to good lighting! Yes the foundation has worn off a bit but it's been on for 12 hours so I'll give credit where credit's due! It's still pretty flawless around my cheeks and forehead. Overall I'm impressed, I think this will be a great day time foundation for my normal/oily skin, it's a dryish matte finish, but people with dry skin..... be warned this may not be for you!

This one definitely won't be getting abandoned in the make up drawer!
