Tried and Tested....Ziaja skincare

Ever heard of Ziaja skincare? No, me neither, well not until I went to the Ziaja Skincare event last Thursday, hosted by the lovely Emma from Mastering Your Makeup, and let me tell ya, it's a name you won't want to forget! I am delighted to have been introduced to this very affordable brand and luckily I got to take a few bits home to try out.

This Polish brand has been around for 25 years and their main mantra is 'focus on skin' and that's exactly what they do. No fancy packaging, no secret elixir of life, just good quality ingredients. They offer a massive range of about 900 products and they all have different benefits depending on the main ingredient used, such as saffron for mature skin, goat's milk for dry skin and cocoa butter for hydration.

I tried out products from the Cocoa Butter and Olive Leaf range and was super impressed. First thing I noticed was how nice all the products smelt. They were real familiar, comforting smells and as well as that,  all the products are very reasonably priced with most products only costing between €5 - €10! So here's a quick breakdown of what I got....

Goat's Milk Day Cream

This day time moisturiser is great for normal to dry skin, and with goat's milk as a main ingredient it absorbs quickly but also hydrates effectively without being oily. This is the type of moisturiser I love to use as it keeps my make up in place without letting the make up dry out my skin. I've been using it all week and it certainly measures up to my usual No.7 moisturiser, which is twice the price.

Cocoa Butter Body Lotion

Of all the products I got this one is my ultimate favourite, it smells absolutely amazing, is really quick drying and a great after shower moisturiser. I put it on last Sunday night and spent the whole evening sniffing my arms! It may not look like much but it's actually very luxurious.

Cocoa Butter Body Scrub

Another great smelling product that does exactly what it says on the tin. As an avid fake tan wearer a good body scrub is an essential pre tan ritual! The grains in this are harsh enough to get my skin nice and smooth but not too rough to rip the skin off me. I felt brand new after using the two cocoa butter products together!

If you're into your Soap and Glory or Body Shop skincare this brand really is on par, but for half the price. I'll definitely be stocking up again, and don't be fooled by the plain packaging, these products really pack a punch! You can be sure they won't be left in the back of my press with some of last years dodgy Christmas presents, and I'm confident I'll be replacing them once they're all used up.

There's something for everyone in this brand so I really recommend you give it a try, and you don't need to break the bank for this affordable luxury.
