OOTD: All that glitters is gold!

Hi everybody.....as promised here's details on last nights outfit, thanks for all the compliments and comments on Facebook and Instagram, I'm really feeling the love! 

Last night I went to Dakota for my first Christmas party, an unofficial get together with some of my ex colleagues. And as per usual I'm writing this from the sofa in my pj's..... watching Catfish :)


First of all lets talk about the pièce de résistance....the reindeer phone cover! Only €4 in Penneys and they have a Santa one too! 

As for my outfit, I went with this amazing sequinned skirt from Zara, that I picked up in Blanchardstown last week for €39.95! It's fully sequinned with matte silvery gold sequins, so it's not too flashy but still Christmas party appropriate :)



It also comes in a dress version for €59.95 but I think the skirt is a great piece to have to create different looks with. I think I'll be wearing my skirt again with black tights and a more casual top for my traditional Christmas Eve drinks.


As for my top....I must have changed it about 10 times before I decided on this River Island one, but I think I made the right choice! Unfortunately I don't think this top is available anymore because I got it as a birthday present in July! I did check the website and couldn't find it but I found a very nice similar one for €25.



And you's should know, I share my outfits more so for inspiration rather than imitation. I really don't have the funds to wear brand new clothes every weekend, so on most occasions not every item of my outfit will be available to purchase. Sorry!!

For my accessories I kept it simple and went with a shimmery gold bag from Oasis, and River Island heels!



I threw on my black fur coat from Penneys, which I bought this time last year but I'm sure I saw the same ones back in the shop this year, for about €20-€25.


And off out I went, for a great night! Hopefully the first of many!

Make Up by Polish Hand & Foot Spa

As you may have seen from my millions of pictures on Facebook & Instagram , I got my make up done! This is so exciting for me because it's something I never do! If I'm going to a salon it's usually for nails or a blow dry, I just never think to get my make up done! And why wouldn't I? I do my own make up decent enough.....but let's be honest it's never anything special. So I was only delighted when I was given the opportunity to have someone else do it for me! I was invited to Polish Hand & Foot Spa to get my make up done yesterday evening, and it was such a lovely treat!! First of all Polish Spa on Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin is a very chic salon run by Leanne and Emma. For me (and probably most other people) the interior of a salon really adds to the experience and Polish Spa did not disappoint.
