My Favourite Homeware Shops
Whether you've just moved into a house or apartment or have had your own place for years, decorating it is what makes it feel like home. I was so excited to decorate our new house, but of course we were on a tight budget! So here's some of my favourite and affordable homeware shops.

Aldi Ireland
You may not even notice the fabulous homeware bits Aldi stock as they are usually sold out within minutes! Over the last year or so I have kept a close eye on the 'special buys' section on the Aldi website, to see what new products are coming in in the next few weeks. And if there's something I'm eager to get my hands on I'll make sure I'm first in the queue on the day it launches.

Homesense
As far as I know there's only two Homesense stores in Ireland, one in Dublin and one in Cork. Luckily for me the Dublin one is a five minute drive from my house, so I'm a weekly visitor! But don't fret, if you're near a TK Maxx it's basically the same thing, they are sister companies after all. Homesense it's where you'll find trendy, unique and sometimes quirky pieces, for far cheaper than what they originally retailed at. The huge stores stock everything and anything, from sofas to spatulas and the stock is constantly changing so there'll always be something new to catch your eye.
The Penneys homeware section is always worth a visit for stylish and cheap homeware purchases. This is where I go for candles, candle holders, tea towels, throws, bed linens, bath towels and any kind of small household accessories
Ikea
You can't decorate your house without making a trip to Ikea! We got loads here, including bedside tables, bathroom mirrors, shelving, lampshades and plenty more!
Sostrene Grene
Sostrene Grene reminds me of the marketplace section in Ikea. Mainly small, affordable, handy items with simple Scandinavian design. They do the odd few larger pieces like shelving units and chairs as well.
H&M
Hands up if you didn't know about H&M homeware? You'd be forgiven if you weren't aware of it as I'm not sure if many stores stock it, I've only ever bought online. This is where I got all the cushion covers for my house as well as a few more home accessories.
