My Irish Beauty Show Haul

Over the weekend, for the first time ever, I went to The Irish Beauty Show.....and what an experience! As far as I know the show originally started off as a trade show but now anybody can buy a ticket and head on in to stock up on their favourite beauty bits. The RDS hall was jam packed with stands and stalls selling anything and everything beauty related. All the well known names were there including Blank Canvas, Benefit, Real Techniques, Makeup Revolution and Dermalogica...just to name a few.

Now this show is not for the faint hearted as it was full to the brim of beauty enthusiasts looking for a bargain, and I of course was one of them. So here's my (mini) haul from my first Irish Beauty Show.

My first purchase was these hella cute pom pom shoes, I know....not exactly beauty related, but they were a steal at €15 so I couldn't say no. The brand on the box is Nio Nio but I think they were just being sold by a general trader. Here's a link to a similar pair from eBay:

I was invited to the show by Irish tanning brand CatwalkHQ Tan so they kindly hooked me up with a bottle of their amazing tan, in shade dark of course. You can buy this tan from their website - here, or from Bradleys Pharmacy.

Next up was the a visit to The Skin Nerd's stand. Jennifer Rock aka The Skin Nerd was there giving advice and I picked up two of her cleansing mitts, which you can buy from most pharmacies or online - here.

I also hit up the Nima Brush stand, I'm a Nima newbie and just wanted a standard foundation brush so got this extremely soft one for €13 (usually €18). There's no name or reference on it but I had a look at the website and I think it's called the 'Flathead Kabuki Brush'.

My last stand to make a purchase from was Blank Canvas. I did want a few eyeshadow brushes but the stand was so busy and I had done no research on what brushes to get so I just grabbed one blending brush for a fiver (usually €8). I also managed to get my hands on their Master Series palette for €20, which usually retails at €35.

I will most definitely be going back to The Irish Beauty Show next year! I will do my research before hand though so I can grab what I want, without losing the run of myself! :)
