Boots Beauty Haul

I feel like I spent the month of September using the last of all my products. How does everything run out at the same time?! So, a trip to Boots was in order! Here's a quick run through of what I couldn't go without for any longer....


Pro:Voke Touch of Silver Shampoo and Conditioner


This shampoo is an essential product for highlighted hair! It does exactly what it says - neutralises brassiness. I only use the shampoo maybe every third or fourth wash and it's brilliant for keeping my hair nice and bright. The conditioner is an intensive treatment, which works wonders for dry ends.

Seventeen Stay Time Foundation


You'll have heard me talk about this bargain foundation before. I first bought it a few months back when it was reduced to 25 cent in my local Boots and I said feck it, I'll give it a go. Turns out it's brill (serious coverage) so I didn't mind paying the full €9 for it second time round.

Seventeen Cheek Stamp


When I bought that foundation there was an offer going for a free cheek stamp. It's not something that I would have bought but I'd never turn down free makeup. I got the shade Bashful (because the other two pinkier shades were awful bright). Let's be honest, stamping your makeup on isn't necessary but the colour is quite nice and like I said it was free :)

Collection Eyeliner & Maybelline Eye Shadow


Next into my shopping basket was a product that I use every day - Collection's Fast Stroke Eyeliner. I absolutely swear by this liner, it's so easy to use and is jet black! I also picked up this individual eye shadow from Maybelline - Copper Fizz. It's really similar (if not the same) to my most used eye shadow from their Blushed Nudes Palette.

No.7 Moisturiser


Another product that I buy over and over again. This moisturiser is perfect for my oily skin, and doesn't make me too shiny during the day.


Lastly I picked up the best eye make up remover (in my opinion) and a new cleanser from La Roche Posay. I only used this cleasner for the first time last night, so will report back with my thoughts in a few weeks :)

Make Up by Polish Hand & Foot Spa

As you may have seen from my millions of pictures on Facebook & Instagram , I got my make up done! This is so exciting for me because it's something I never do! If I'm going to a salon it's usually for nails or a blow dry, I just never think to get my make up done! And why wouldn't I? I do my own make up decent enough.....but let's be honest it's never anything special. So I was only delighted when I was given the opportunity to have someone else do it for me! I was invited to Polish Hand & Foot Spa to get my make up done yesterday evening, and it was such a lovely treat!! First of all Polish Spa on Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin is a very chic salon run by Leanne and Emma. For me (and probably most other people) the interior of a salon really adds to the experience and Polish Spa did not disappoint.
