This post is all about one of my makeup bag must haves - nude lipstick.


I have quite the collection of lipsticks but these few are my absolute must haves! Fab colours, lovely texture and most important - long lasting. Here's a quick run down of my favourite four.

Mac Faux - This was my first real nude lipstick and that's when the love affair started. Made famous by the one and only Kylie Jenner, this satin finish lipstick is a lovely pinky nude that seems to suit every skin tone.

Lipliner buddy - Flormar No.229




Mac Honey Love - A peachy matte nude which is probably the palest I can get away with but it works. Even though it's a pale nude, I do find the shade and finish a bit 'glam' for everyday wear but that's easily combated with with a light layer of lipgloss.

Lipliner buddy - NYX Nude Suede Shoes





Rimmel Kate Moss No.45 - What a lipstick! Very similar to Mac Faux but a lighter texture and a slightly different shade. I highly rate these Kate Moss lipsticks, such good quality for such a good price.

Lipliner Buddy - NYX Pale Rose




Rimmel Kate Moss No.03 - Another peachy nude similar to Mac Honey Love but a sheer/satin finish instead.

Make Up by Polish Hand & Foot Spa

As you may have seen from my millions of pictures on Facebook & Instagram , I got my make up done! This is so exciting for me because it's something I never do! If I'm going to a salon it's usually for nails or a blow dry, I just never think to get my make up done! And why wouldn't I? I do my own make up decent enough.....but let's be honest it's never anything special. So I was only delighted when I was given the opportunity to have someone else do it for me! I was invited to Polish Hand & Foot Spa to get my make up done yesterday evening, and it was such a lovely treat!! First of all Polish Spa on Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin is a very chic salon run by Leanne and Emma. For me (and probably most other people) the interior of a salon really adds to the experience and Polish Spa did not disappoint.
