My Christmas Round-up!
Once again I have to apologise for not blogging in a while, I've had a very busy, fun filled Christmas and when I wasn't out enjoying it I was either sick or hungover! But I did get into a bit of trouble off a few people for my lack of updates so hopefully this post will make up for that!
Family Time
As some of you's may know my sister Siobhán came home from Vancouver to spend Christmas with the family, we haven't seen her for about a year and a half so I was delighted to be reunited with her! So for the past two and a half weeks we've filled our time with meals out, parties, walks in the park, ice skating, Dublin Christmas Market, Guinness Storehouse and we even watched Frozen three times! I've been wrecking Dean's head constantly singing "Love is an open dooooooor"Family Fun |
At The Hole In The Wall, Christmas Eve |
This is me and my family at our Christmas Eve meal...yes I have a brother, he hardly gets memtioned here, sorry!!! And the one below that is one of my favourite pictures from this year, a Devitt family selfie at my Mam's Christmas jumper party, and that's not even all of the Devitts! Thank God for selfie sticks!
I also went to Opium on Wexford Sreet for dinner with my friends just before Christmas and the food was amazing! A great place to go if you like Chinese food! And I swear to God we weren't creeping on a very popular Irish blogger who was also there! And how deadly are Dean's beard baubles? That man knows how to rock a beard!
As I mentioned above, I went to the Guinness Storehouse with my sister, I'd never been before and I was actually blown away at how good it was! It's €18 per adult (cheaper for students) but definitely worth it! There's five floors filled with everything involved in making a pint of the black stuff, then a free pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar, while you take in the stunning view of Dublin. I actually felt like a tourist there, but it was a bit embarrassing when people asked where I'd come from......eh just down the road! :)
I only took a sip! |
Presents
Once again my family absolutely spoilt me this Christmas, so of course I'm going to share with you some of the lovely presents I got! And you may recognise a few of them from my Christmas Gift Guide, that post really pointed my family in the right direction! :)This gorgeous bag is from Penneys |
Santa was very good to me and brought me the InStyler amongst many other things. I gave it a go the other night and this is how my hair turned out. Not bad for a first attempt, but practice makes perfect!
Outfits
Now it wouldn't be a style blog without a few outfit pictures, would it?This was my Christmas Eve outfit, my River Island shift dress, AliExpress necklace, French Connection jacket (very old) and I picked my hat up at the Dublin Christmas Market.
My Christmas Day outfit! Urban Outfitters skirt, Topshop top, New Look boots, Parfois bag and my Christmas Market hat. I may have destroyed the white top by wearing a red housecoat over it :(
Head to toe Penneys!! I just love the earmuffs!

Bargains
And what's Christmas without a bit of sale shopping?! I did a small bit of shopping from the sofa and got a good few bargains. These ASOS boots got delivered today and they're gorgeous! And a steal at €25.I also ordered this gilet from Zara, reduced from €49.95 to €39.99. It hasn't been delivered yet but I'm sure you'll see loads of pictures of it on my Instagram once I do get it!
