Christmas Party Picks
'Tis the season to pull out all the stops and look like the ultimate Christmas babe for the various parties and festivities coming up. I'd say Coppers will be sweeping up so many sequins they'll be making dresses of their own! I myself have something on every weekend of December and even though I haven't even come close to finishing my Christmas shopping it's time to think about outfits! And my thinking would be "tis the season to sparkle". So I've scoured the internet for my favourite Christmas party pieces to share with you. I didn't make them into outfits though, as most people won't be buying full outfits they might just pick up one or two things. But if you do want outfit ideas, let me know!! I have plenty of skirts and dresses at home, so for me this year my main focus will be tops, but don't worry I've covered all options :)
First up is midi skirts! These skirts are still very on trend and look great with a crop top and simple heels. If a crop top isn't your thing (I don't wear them) a small simple top will do, let the focus be on the skirt and you don't want to be completely drowning in material. Yes the ASOS one is extremely expensive, but a girl can dream...and hopefully find a similar, cheaper one somewhere else! The River Island skirt looks quite casual on the model but would be a perfect alternative for a black tie Christmas party.
Eeekk....expensive, but so pretty!!! |
This Penney's one is a bit more casual but still dressy and it won't break the bank....if you can get your hands on it!! And there's a matching top for this skirt too!
If midi's are not your thing, I've still saved you a few hours of searching the shops for something a bit shorter. I bought sequined shorts in Penneys about 3 years ago, they have lasted so well and I pull them out every Christmas without fail, so a sparkly skirt or shorts would definitely be something worth investing in! I always wear mine with thick black tights to avoid looking like Kylie Minogue!

Last years Christmas Eve outfit! |
And if it's way to cold to get the legs out, trousers can be just as glam.
Don't worry I haven't forgotten about dresses! These two from River Island are just fabulous and quite affordable for something so dressy! I'm in love with the one on the left!!
These two dresses below are also gorgeous, the ASOS one is a tad expensive but it's a nice change from than the usual Christmas party style!
Here's another two options a bit on the expensive side...if you're struggling to spend your Christmas bonus :)
Jumpsuit H&M €99 Feather dress Oasis €163 |
